Jackie ChanThe action star pays a visit to Great Grandmaster Leung Ting, World Chief Instructor for WingTsun
Being able to fight like Jackie Chan is the dream of any martial arts fan and action films junkie. A dream that can also come true, at least in part!

In his more recent productions Jackie Chan has been using more and more WingTsun movements to get the better of his opponents. To deepen his knowledge of this Chinese Kung Fu system he has paid a visit to Great Grandmaster Leung Ting, the World Chief Instructor for the WingTsun system, which is also also highly popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with more than 2000 schools.

Jackie Chan, who is extraordinarily popular because he performs all his stunts and screen fights in person, has been an enthusiastic martial artist from a very early age on.Naturally, he wanted to learn more about WingTsun, which has already spread to 64 countries and is becoming increasingly popular.

Therefor, he visited the international headquarters of the IWTA (International WingTsun Association).During this visit he gave an interview to an American TV station and posed for a number of action photos for future cartoon films and computer games. At the Hong Kong headquarters he asked Grandmaster Leung Ting to teach him a few WingTsun wooden dummy techniques for future films.

Jackie Chan proved to be such a "natural" that after just 10 minutes he was able to demonstrate the difficult WingTsun movements on the dummy.Jackie Chan is fascinated by WT, as it is not merely the most practical Kung Fu style but also offers the spectator unique, soft movements that no other style can match!

Those wanting to know more about this new martial art of Jackie Chan should contact the European WT Organisation (EWTO) Tel. +49 6223-47250, which represents Grandmaster Leung Ting in the west.
